packing and moving

Packing up and getting ready to move! So exciting to pack up my “living room corner studio” and get ready to move it into it’s own room! AND get back to work sculpting. I have been on a sculpting break while building our new house. It is so much work, but I have learned to do electrical, insulation, drywall mudding, staining, painting, flooring…and we are almost near the end, finally!

Feb 2011 – We have finally moved into our new house.  Been away from sculpting for almost 6 months and I am now starting to unpack and set up in my new studio room.  So nice to be back to working on art dolls again.

My old studio started with a couple little tables in the corner of my living room and by 2007 it looked like this:

Then in 2009 I added more space and it was heaven to be able to have separate areas for sculpting, painting, applying hair and sparkles…even though the space was still a bit cramped.

Now in 2011 we have moved and I have my own studio room.  Joy!!  Just starting to unpack…
